Merry Christmas again!!! For those of you not in this part of the world, the last few hours of your Felish Natal are drawing to a close. The missus and I hope you had a pleasurable and joy-filled Christmas, no matter where you spent it.
For us, it is now Boxing Day and we are mellowing out in the morning hours. A quick call from the missus’ brood in Tex-arse and a chance to use my toaster!! Oh joy!! Multi-grain toast and peanut butter!! Bought local jam though…..I think the only thing strawberry about it is the artificial colouring in it……blech…..ahhh well, mix it in with peanut butter and bananas and the world is all good.
Only a short blog today (no seriously) because I am about to let the mystery guest blogger online, she may not post her blog today, but it is coming soon……this may take more than one guest appearance though…..I think she has a lot to say.
I will just put a big shout out to Noé and Célia for an insanely well-done and wonderful Christmas dinner. It truly was awesome…..the only time that I have had five or six courses that finished the meal at about 1 a.m. But very good cooking.
And there were Christmas presents!! I got Célia a new pair of flip-flops to replace the ones that got broken at the crazy golf and a new compact mirror to replace the one that got a crack in the middle when I accidentally knocked it to the floor a couple of weeks back. I know, more replacements than Christmas pressies, but hey, these were quality items too!! Noé got a dive torch/flashlight, so now he can stop stealing mine!! And the pair of them got some maple syrup and Green & Black’s organic 70% cocoa chocolate. They seemed pleased!!
Good people too….all twelve of us….it was festive and giving in the true meaning of the season ….. ah, a warm glow infused us all…..no, not a toot, a feeling of peace and love!!
Out on the afternoon boat today…..yes, abandoning the missus….but I am so close to 100 dives (something I need in order to start the IDC)….only five more to go, three after today. She’s just going to chillax.
Off to Koh Phanang tomorrow to take it super-super-easy for a few days…..I hope they have internet there, but I am taking the lap-top to be sure…
